This is the last Will and Testament of me
Ann Hudson of Oadby in the County of Leicester Spinster as
follows as concerning all my wearing apparel plate and china I
give and bequeath the same unto my ffriends Martha Moore and Ann
Moore both of ffaxton in the said County of Leicester and
Harriott ffrench Lucy Ann ffrench Elizabeth ffenton ffrench and
Jane ffrench all of Oadby aforesaid in equal shares and
proportions and as concerning all other my Personal estate and
Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind
soever I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto
my friend Benjamin Sutton the younger of Leicester Gentleman his
executors administrators and assigns upon trust that he my said
trustee his executors administrators and assigns do and shall
convey such part of my said personal Estate into money as shall
not consist of money or debts owing to me and collect and get in
such debts and as to the monies arising from such sale or sales
of my said Personal Estate upon trust that he my said trustee
his executors administrators or assigns do and shall stand
possessed thereof in the first place to pay all my just debts
funeral and testamentary expences and after payment thereof upon
trust to pay and discharged all costs as my said trustees may
have incurred or be liable to in executing the trust in him or
them reposed and after payment thereof upon trust to pay the
several persons the several sums of money hereinafter named that
is to say unto my friend Benjamin Sutton the elder of Leicester
Gentleman the sum of seventy five pounds unto the children of my
late friend Mrs Mary Duffin in equal shares the like sum of
seventy five pounds unto the said Harriott ffrench the sum of
ffifty pounds unto my friends Mrs Lucy Ann ffrench Maria
Reynolds Maria Spencer Mrs Ann Moore and Mrs Cartwright the sum
of ten pounds each which Legacies I give to each of them
accordingly and as to the residue of the trust moneys upon trust
to pay and divide the same unto the aforesaid Benjamin Sutton
the elder and John ffrench of Oadby in the County of Leicester
Publican in equal shares and proportions and I do hereby declare
that the said Benjamin Sutton the younger his executors and
administrators shall not be answerable for any more money than
he or they shall actually receive under the trusts hereby as
here reposed and lastly I do hereby appoint my said ffriends
Benjamin Sutton the younger sole Executor of this my Will hereby
revoking all former Wills made by me at any time heretofore In
Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this sixth day of
June in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
