In the Name of God Amen the thirteenth Day of June
ADoi 1634 I Richard Hopkins of Steventon in the County of Berks yeoman
beeeing weake in bodye but of healthy & ? memory (thank bee given unto
Almighty God therefore Doo make & ordayne this my last will and testament in
manner and forme followinge ? I commit my soule into the hande of ALmighty
God fully preyinge to bee saved by the mersite? death & ? of Jesus Christe
my Saviour and my bodye I commite to the earth eherof itt is al made to bee
buried in the Churche of ?
Item I give and bequeathe unto my sonne Ffrancis Hopkins 40P to bee
payd unto him one year next after my decease
Item I give unto my sonne Thomas Hopkins the like sum of 40P to bee
paide unto him within one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto my daughter Joane Kinger a bullocke and to her Sonne

Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Sherwood a Bullock and unto my
Godsonne Richard Kinges x s and All with my will it shall bee payd within
one yeare next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Coles xxx s and unto
every one of her children xx s a peice to be payd again one yeare next after
my decease alsoe
Item I give unto my daughter Dorothie Ffield xi s and I give unto my
daughter Anne Weeke xxx s beeing intended for after of their marriages

Item I give unto my Godsonne Richard Hopkins xx s and unto my kinsman
John Hopkins x s All with my will is shall bee payde within one yeare nexte
after my decease
Item I give unto WIlliam Lyforde Sonne of Robt Lyforde two quarters
of Barley to bee paide and delivered unto him when hee shall atteyne the age
of twelve yeares
Item I give unto Mary Lorrett & unto Margarett Whitte my sisters
children x s a piece to be payd unto them within one years next after my
decease Also I give unto the poore people of Steventon five pounde to
remayne at a Stock for ever & that this ffriday yearely
