The Will of Daniell Hooton
In the name of God Amen I Daniell Hooton of
Ravenston in the County of Bucks being sick of body but in sound and
disposing memory prayse be given to God for the same do make this my
Last Will and Testament in maner and forme following that is to say
first and principally I resine my Soul into the marcifull hands of
almity God my Creator assuredly hoping through the merites of my blessed
Saviour to obtain remision of all my Sins and my body I comit to the
Earth whence it was taken to be desently buried by the discretion of my
Executrix herein after named and as for my Worldly Goodes and estate the
Lord hath lent mee I dispose thereof as follows Imprimis I Give and
bequeath to my Sone Daniell Hooton sixty pounds to be paid him when he
is one and twenty yeares of age and I give to my sone Thomas Hooton
sixty pounds to bee paid at one and twenty yeares and if either of them
die be fore they come to one & twenty yeares forty poundes shall bee
given to the other & twenty pounds I give to Katherin Hooton my wife
which I macke executrix of this my last will and Testament My will is
that Katherin my wife shall bring p…Children with the Interest of these
Legacyes but if shee marry I injoyne her to pay these Legacyes which I
give to Daniell Hooton and Tho Hooton to..three men that is John Hooton
of Newport Panell... and Daniell Reade of Emmerton both in the County of
Bucks and Edwd Plant the younger living at Skifton in the County of
Northam or such security as they shall ..but if Kathren my wife and he
that marries her refuses to pay in the mony and will not give goode
security then those three men which I have chose gardenes for my
Chilldren I impower to sese as much of the stock as shall pay the
Chilldrens portions and keepe it for their use and give it to them when
they come of age this I acknowledge to be my Last will and testament
whence unto I set my hand and seale April 19 1692
