Transcript Will of John HOLLINPRIEST of
LONDON 1699.

In the name of God Amen, I, John HOLLINPREIST, Citizen and
Merchant Taylor of London, being sick and weak in body but of
perfect minde and memory, Praise be given to Almighty God for
the same but knowing the uncertainty of this life do make and
declare this to be my last will and testament in manner
following
Imprimis I recommend my soul unto Almighty God my Creator
trusting through the merits death and passion of my Saviour
Jesus Christ to have remission and pardon for all my sins and to
enjoy everlasting life and my body I commit to the earth to be
buryed in such decent manner as my Executrix hereinafter named
shall think fit and as to what worldly estate the Lord hath been
pleased to bless me withal I give and bequeath as followeth.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Brother Aron HOLLINPREIST the
sume of two hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be
paid to him twelve months after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth HULME, widow,
the sume of two hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be
paid to her twelve months after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Sister Mary HILTON, wife of
Robert Hilton, the sume of two hundred pounds of lawfull money
of England to be paid to her twelve months after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto Mary Hulme, daughter of my said
Sister Elizabeth Hulme, the sume of one hundred pounds of
lawfull money of England to be paid to her on the day of her
marrynge.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my most dear and loving wife all
my stock and interest in the Royal Bank of England and all my
household goods, plate, jewells, rings and estate whatsoever and
do hereby make her sole executrix of this my last will and
testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made and
declare this to be my last will in witness whereof I the said
John Hollinpriest have hereunto set my hand and seal the six and
twentieth day of March Anno Dmni one thousand six hundred ninety
nine and in the eleventh year of the raigne of King William the
Third over England.
John Hollinpreist signed sealed published and declared to be the
last will and testament of the said John Hollinpreist by him in
the presence of Edwd STEVENS, John BAMBER, John RUSSELL (?).
Proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury in London. April
1699.
