The Will of Mary Holland
In the name of God Amen the
thirteenth day of ffebruary
Anno Dom 1685 I Mary Holland
of Granborough in the County
of Bucks widow being weake
of body but in perfect
memory praysed be God doe
make this my last will and
testament in manner
following viz first I
commend my soule into the
hands of Almighty God who
created me and redeemed me
by his sonne Jesus Christ by
whom I trust for remission
of my Sinnes and to be made
ptaker of his everlasting
Kingdome and my body to be
buryed at the discretion of
my Executors hereafter named
and as concerning that
portion of earthly wealth
which it hath pleased God to
bless me wthall first I give
unto my Sonne Benedict one
shilling Item I give unto my
daughter Mary Seabrooke one
shilling Item I give unto my
daughter Joane one shilling
Item I give unto my
grandchild Benedict Holland
the sonne of Thomas Holland
one shilling Item I give
unto my aforesaid sonne
Benedict my cart and wheeles
the rest of my goods and
chattells unbequeathed I
give unto my sonne John
Holland and to my daughter
Elizabeth Holland and to my
daughter Martha Holland who
I make Joynt Executrs of
this my last will and
testament In witness whereof
I have set to my hand and
seale the day and yeare
