The Will of Henry Hobbs

 

In the name of God Amen I Henry Hobbs of Blackmead in the parish of Wymmington in the County of Bedford being weak in body but of Sound & disposing mind & memory make this my last Will & testament in manner following Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my eldest daughter Elizabeth Hobbs those my three acres of freehold arrable land lying & being in the Common feild in the parish and precincts of Great Horwood in the County of Bucks with the appurtenances thereto belonging to have and to hold to her & her heirs for ever Item I nominate and appoint my loveing wife the sole Executrix of this my last Will & testament whom (after payment of debts & funeral Exepnces) I give and bequeath all my goods Chattells & Creditts whatsoever desireing her to be careful in the Education of my Children And Lastly I hereby revoke all former wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twentieth day of Septemebr in the Year of our Lord Jesus Christ one thousand six hundred & Ninety four The mark of Henry Hobbs
