The Will of Thomas Hingston

 

I Thomas Hingston of the City of Bristol Upholder do make this my last Will and Testament as follows I give and bequeath all my property estate and effects of every description and over which I have any power of disposition or settlement or otherwise unto my brother in law Robert Merrell Ring of Bristol aforesaid and my friend William Smee the younger of London Upholder upon trust to pay the interest or annual income thereof unto my dear Wife Mary Hingston for her own use and for the education and maintenance of our children born or to be born until the youngest child shall attain the age of twenty one years and then upon trust to divide and distribute the shole of the said property Estate and Effects equally between and amongst my said Wife and children or such of them as shall be then living share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and I appoint the said Robert Merrell Ring and William Smee the younger Executors of this my will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my name this fourteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty two _  Tho Hingston
