The Will of John Hignell

 

In the Name of God Amen I John Hignell of Arlington in the Parish of Bybury in the County of Gloucester Yeoman being weak in Body but of Perfect and sound Mind and Memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I give to my Brother Richard Hignell of Arlington in the Parish of Bybury in the County of Gloucester the Sum of twenty Pounds to be paid to him within six Months of my decease but if my said Brother should dye before that time then the Money to be equally divided between his two Sons all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels and Personal estate of which nature or kind soever or wheresoever being I give to my loveing Wife Jemima Hignell and I make her sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal the seventh Day of April in the Year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred forty six John Hignell
