The Will of Mary Herbert

I Mary Herbert
Widow and Relict of the late Mr Evan
Herbert of Abergavenny being of
sound mind & memory do hereby make &
declare this my Will I hereby
nominate & appoint the Rev Evan
Herbert my Executor to him I give
the whole of my Property monies and
securities for moneys in Trust to be
disposed of as follows ffirst I
direct him to pay my debts &
discharge my funeral and
testamentary expences I hereby give
& bequeath two hundred pounds to
Margaret Probert Wife of John
Probert in the event of her
continuing to live with me to the
end of my life I give & bequeath one
hundred pounds to David Prive my
nephew son of Ann Price to be
mentioned hereafter I give &
bequeath one hundred pounds to the
Rev Evan Herbert my Executor I
hereby give & bequeath ten pounds to
Philip Isaac of the Parish of Cwmdu
in the County of Brecon I hereby
give five pounds to the deacons of
the Independent Church meeting in
Castle Street in Abergavenny for the
benefit and support of the cause of
God in that place The Residue of my
Money wherever found I direct to be
received in trust by my Executor and
I direct him to pay the interest of
the same to Ann Price Widow of my
late brother of Cwmdu in the County
of Brecon during the term of her
natural life after her demise I
direct my Executor to pay the same
interest in equal shares to Philip
Price & Mary Davies son and daughter
of the above named Ann Price after
the deaths of the last mentioned
Philip Price & Mary Davies I direct
the money itself to be equally
divided amongst their surviving
Children by moiety at the death of
either of them I direct finally my
ffurniture linen beds & every other
article money excepted known to be
mine to be equally divided between
the surviving Children of Philip
Price & Mary Davies at my demise

twenty ninth day of March 1830 The
