This is the last will and testament of me
Henry Hellier of Tyneham in the County of Dorset Yeoman made and
published this fifteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred
and twenty five First I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Mary for
and during the term of her natural life one annuity or Yearly sum of
thirty pounds of lawful money free and clear of all deductions, to
be paid to her half yearly, the said annuity or yearly sum to be
paid and payable out of my residuary estate and effects hereinafter
bequeathed I also give and bequeath unto my said wife the use of all
my household goods and furniture plate linen woollen and china for
and during the term of her life and after her decease the same to
fall into and form part of my residuary estate and effects
hereinafter bequeathed I also give and bequeath unto my daughter
Elizabeth the wife of Walter Squibb of Sutton Labourer the weekly
sum of four shillings of lawful money for and during the term of her
life such weekly sum to be paid to her (without the controul or
intermeddling of the said Walter Squibb her said husband ) my said
daughter weekly and every week and to be payable out of my said
residuary estate and effects I also give and bequeath unto my
Granddaughter Harriet the wife of Robert Attin of Broadmayne Butcher
the sum of Fifty pounds to be paid by my executor hereinafter named
at the end of two years next after my decease without interest And
also it is my will and desire that my Executor and residuary legatee
hereinafter named Shall raise out of my residuary and personal
estate hereinafter bequeathed the sum of one hundred and fifty
pounds for the purpose of full ..... a living called Romsey’s living
situate at Preston in the said County of Dorset and my will is that
he shall name as lives my two Grandsons William and Henry Hellier
the children of my late son Thomas Hellier deceased. And lastly all
the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever
and wheresoever and all my farming Stock crops utensils and
implements in Husbandry now standing and being on the farm in my
occupation at Tyneham aforesaid, Subject nevertheless to the payment
of the said annuity or yearly sum hereinbefore given to my said wife
half yearly, and the said sum of four shillings weekly and every
week to my said daughter Elizabeth Squibb; to the payment of the
said legacy of fifty pounds to my Granddaughter Harriet Attin, my
funeral and other expences, and to the raising of the said sum of
one hundred and fifty pounds for the purpose hereinbefore mentioned
, I give devise and bequeath to my son Henry Hellier of Tyneham
aforesaid Yeoman his executors administrators and assigns And I do
hereby make ordain nominate and appoint his my said son Henry
Hellier whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament
and I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills codicil or
codicils by me at any time or times heretofore made and do declare
these presents only to be and contain my last will and testament In
witness whereof I the said Henry Hellier the testator have to this
my will set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above
written
