The Will of Caleb Hardinge

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Caleb Hardinge of Mansfield in the County of Nottingham Doctor of Physick I give devise and bequeath unto my dear Wife Ann Hardinge of Mansfield aforesaid all and every my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever in Possession Reversion Remainder or Expectancy and also all my Goods Chattels Effects Personal Estate of what nature or kind soever with all and every of their Appurtenances To hold the same unto and to the use of the said Ann Hardinge her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever And I do hereby appoint the said Ann Hardinge & my Brother in Law Thomas Thornhill of St Pauls Churchyard London and my friend David Hartley of Golden Square London to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament and revoking all former Wills by me made I do declare this only to be and to contain my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one _ Caleb Hardinge   (Attestation Clause)   W Chambers    Margaret Thornhill     Catherine Heathcote   14 August 1776 Administration with Will annexed to George Hardinge Esq the Nephew of the deceased Executors having renounced the execution and Ann Hardinge   PCC Prob11/1022
