The Will of William Hall

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Hall of Ince Blundell in the County of Lancaster Yeoman I appoint my Wife Emily Hall my son John Hall and my Brother in Law George Alderson Executrix and Executors of my Will and I direct them to permit my Wife to occupy or otherwise enjoy the use of my house and premises situate at Ince Blundell with the furniture and other effects therein and also to receive and take the income of all the Residue of my Estate and Effects during her life or so long as she shall remain my Widow But if she marries again I give to her the sum of one hundred pounds for her separate use in lieu of the bequests hereinbefore made to her And from and immediately after the death or second marriage of my said Wife I give to my son John Hall my said house and premises situate at Ince Blundell for all my estate and interest therein together with all the furniture and other effects in and about the same premises for his own use absolutely but charged nevertheless with the payment of an annuity of ten pounds to my Daughters Ann Mary Agnes and Ellen Hall and the survivors and survivor of them during her and their lives and life And as to all the Residue of my Estate and Effects from and after the death or second marriage of my said Wife Upon Trust to pay to my said Daughters Ann and Mary Agnes fifty pounds each (in order to advance or equalize what I have already given or advanced to my said Daughter Ellen Hall) And subject thereto Upon Trust to divide all the Residue of my Estate and Effects between and amongst my said three Daughters Ann Mary Agnes and Ellen Hall equally for their own use absolutely But in the event of any of my said Daughters dying in my lifetime without leaving a Child or Children who shall survive me I give the share or shares as well original as accruing under this present provision of the Daughter or Daughters so dying unto and equally between my said Son John Hall and my surviving Daughters or Daughter for their own use absolutely In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two _ William Hall
