THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me John Hall of Bolton in the county of Lancaster solicitor. I give unto my daughter Mary Louisa the sum of five hundred pounds free of legacy duty and to my daughter Clara I give the sum of one thousand pounds also free of legacy duty and I give and devise all the residue and remainder of my property subject to the payment of all my debts and funeral and testimentary expenses to my son John herbert for his own use absolutely and I appoint him sole EXECUTOR of this my will I hereby revoke all wills hitherto made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of April one thousand eight hundred and ninety one - John Hall- Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses –

DEATH ON OR AFTER 1st JANUARY, 1898
BE IT KNOWN that John Hall of 173a Chorley New Road Bolton in the County of Lancaster died on the 12th day of January 1906 at 173a Chorley New Road aforesaid
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN THAT at the date hereunder written the last will and testament of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principle Probate Registry of His Majesty’s High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid court to John Herbert Hall of Willow Bank Lostock Bolton aforesaid solicitor the son the sole executor named in the will
