In the Name of God Amen I Tamberlain
Gwillim of the City of Hereford Gentleman being of sound Mind
and Memory (praised be God for the same) and duly considering
the uncertainty of this Mortal Life Do make and publish my Last
Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
ffirst I Give and devise unto my son William Gwillim All that my
Messuage or Tenement and ffarm Situate Lying and being in the
Parish of Wellington in the County of Hereford with all and
singular the Lands and Appurts thereunto belonging now in the
tenure or Occupation of John Graves the Elder and John Graves
the Younger or one of them And also that my other Messuage or
Tenement or ffarm with all the Lands thereunto belonging in the
said Parish of Wellington and now or late in the Occupation of
William Griffiths with the Appurts thereto belonging To hold
unto my said Son William Gwillim his Heirs and Assigns for ever
Subject nevertheless to the payment of the Sum of Twelve hundred
Pounds Charged thereon on which the same Are liable to pay to my
daughter Elizabeth now the Wife of Reverend John Forres Clerk
one of the Canons of the Cathedral Church of Hereford Also I
Give and devise unto my said Son William Gwillim and his Heirs
all that my ffreehold and Copyhold or Customary Tenement and
Lands with the Appurts thereunto belonging situate Lying and
being in the Parish of Canon Pyon in the County of Hereford now
in the Possession of Davis as Tenant thereof Also I Give
and devise unto my said Son William Gwillim and his Heirs and
Assigns for ever all my Coppice Woods and wood Grounds Situate
Lying and being in Chance Hill in the Parish of Wellington
Aforesaid Also I Give and devise unto my said Son William
Gwillim All that my Messuage or Tenement with the Lands thereto
belonging situate Lying and being in the Parish of Bolston in
the said County of Hereford now in the Possession
of Williams with their Appurts To hold unto my said
Son William Gwillim and his Heirs and Assigns for ever Also I
Give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my Wife the Sum of ffifty
pounds and also all my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate which
I shall dye possessed of within the within the City of Hereford
(Mortgages and Securities for Money only Excepted) Also I Give
and bequeath unto my three Grand Children John Sarah and Mary
the Children of my Daughter Elizabeth Jones one Guinea Each to
be paid to them at my decease Also I Give and bequeath to Edward
Bullock and Jane Bullock the Children of Edward Bullock of
Ballingham in the County of Hereford one Guinea Each to be paid
to them at my decease and as to all the rest and residue of my
Goods Chattels Ready Money secured to me in the Publick ffunds
or by Mortgages Bonds Notes or otherwise and all other my
Personal Estate whatsoever not by me herein before and
bequeathed from and after Payment of my Just Debts and ffuneral
Expences and the several Legacies or Sums of Money by me herein
before given and bequeathed I Give and bequeath the same and
every part thereof unto my said Son William Gwillim Also I Give
and Devise all other my ffreehold and Coppyhold Messuages Lands
Tenements and Heredits whatsoever Situate Lying and being in the
Parish of Wellington aforesaid or Elsewhere in the said County
of Hereford (Subject to the Jointure Estate of the said
Elizabeth my Wife which I hereby Confirm) unto my said Son
William Gwillim and his Heirs and Assigns for ever Lastly I do
hereby Constitute and Appoint my said Son William Gwillim Sole
Executor of this my Last Will and Testament And I do revoke and
make void all former and other Wills by me made and Do Declare
this only to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal this Nineteenth day of
January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
sixty seven Tam Gwillim
