This is the last Will and Testament of me Maria Guyer of South Cheriton in the parish of Horsington in the County of Somerset Widow made the twenty sixth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty one that is to say I appoint my nephews Charles Parsons and John Parsons both of Wincanton  in the said County Yeomen Executors of this my will I give and bequeath unto my niece Elizabeth Antell now residing with me all my household goods and furniture plate ware china books and wearing apparel together with a legacy of two hundred and ten pounds for her own absolute use and benefit and direct that ten pounds thereof shall be paid to her at my decease and the residue so soon as conveniently after I also give and bequeath unto my niece Maria Mortimer the sum of one hundred pounds for her own absolute use independent of her present or any future husband I also give and bequeath unto my nephew Thomas Longman the sum of forty pounds and to my said nephews the said Charles Parsons and John Parsons the sum of nineteen pounds and nineteen shillings each for their own absolute use and benefit All the rest and residue of my estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto the sd Charles Parsons and John Parsons To hold to them and the survivor of them and the executors and administrators of such survivor Upon trust after payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses to pay and divide the same unto and equally between my nephews and nieces hereinafter named that is to say the children of my brother John the children of my brother George (except Naomi the wife of Mr George Hiscock) and John James Thomas Robert and William Antell the five sons of my late sister Ann Antell to whom I give and bequeath the same and the issue of them that may have died such issue to take a parents share and in case any such issue shall not have attained the age of twenty one years at my decease I will and direct that the shares of such minors shall in the mean time be invested by my said trustees in their own names on such securities as they may think best and the interest or produce thereof be applied for their benefit at the discretion of my said trustees Provided always and I  hereby declare and direct that in case any or either of my nephews or nieces who are now or may hereafter be residing abroad shall not within the space of two years after my decease claim the share of my residuary estate intended for them that then and in that case the share or shares shall be divided and paid by my said trustees equally amongst the other parties named as residuary legatees in this my Will who shall be then living to whom I give and bequeath the same accordingly I desire that the receipts of my said trustees shall effectually exonerate persons paying money under the trusts of this my Will from all liability to see to the application thereof and that they shall not be answerable for each other but each for his own acts and defaults and not for involuntary losses I authorise and direct them to retain and pay and  allow to each other all costs charges and expenses incurred in and about the execution of the trusts of this my Will I hereby revoke all former Wills and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year aforesaid       Maria Guyer    signed by the said Maria Guyer the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the joint presence of us who in her presence and that of each other hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses
