In the name of God Amen, I George Guy of
Oxnop in the Parish of Grinton and County of York Yeoman, Do
make publish and Declare this to be my last Will and Testament
in manner and form following, That is to say,
first I give and bequeath to my son
Thomas Guy the sum of fifty pounds to be paid by my Executor
herein after named twelve months after my decease or as soon
after as he shall personally Demand it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter
Mary Hammond the sum of fifteen pounds together with a parcel of
wood it nearly the same value laying at Keldside ~~~~~~~~~~~
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter
Elizabeth Chapman The sum of Thirty pounds

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter
Alice Guy the sum of Fifty Pounds togethther withone halfe of my
House-hold Furniture bed & Table Linnin~~
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter
Nancy Guy the sum of Twenty pounds together with the other halfe
of my Household furniture bed & Table Linnin ~~~~~~~~
Item I give and bequeath to my Son Richard
all that my share of a Lead mine called Stagsfell together with
all the remainder of my personal Estate of what nature or kind
so Ever or wheresoever he paying all my Just Debts and Funeral
Expences, and Likewise I do make and ordain him my sole Executor
of this my last will and Testament, revoking all other former
will or wills by me heretofore made and Declare this to be my
Last will and Testament, in Witness where of I have hereunto set
my Hand and Seal this Fourthenth Day of May One Thousand Seven
