In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Grubb of the Parish of Wormley in the County of Hertford Victualler being infirm of Body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament ffirst I commend my Soul unto Almighty God hoping for a joyful Resurrection through the Merits of Jesus Christ my dear Redeemer and as to my Body I commit it to the Earth to be decently interred as my Executrix hereinafter named shall think proper and as to my worldly Goods it hath pleased God to bless me with I do Give and dispose in manner following I Give and bequeath to my dear Wife Mary Grubb all my plate and China of what nature or kind soever I Give and bequeath likewise to my dear Wife Mary Grubb all my Household Goods of what nature or kind soever I Give and bequeath likewise to my dear Wife Mary Grubb all my Linnen and Wearing Apparel of what nature or kind soever and I do hereby constitute and appoint my dear Wife Mary Grubb whole and sole \executrix of this my last Will and Testament Signed Sealed and declared this seventeenth day of September 1765 to be the last Will of me Thomas Grubb In the presence of the within witnesses Thomas Grubb   Thos Hammerton    Richd Spratt
