The Will of John Grimwood

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Grimwood of No 6 ffinsbury Terrace City Road in the County of Middlesex Clerk ffirst I direct all my just debts to be paid and bequeath my Gold Watch and appendages belonging thereto unto my niece Martha Grimwood daughter of my brother Joseph Grimwood I give and bequeath my Diamond ring to my sister Mary Ann Woods now the wife of Mr John Woods of Woodbridge Nurseryman I give and bequeath my silver Cream Jug to my Sister Rebecca Grimwood I give and bequeath my Telescope to my brother Thomas Grimwood And as to all the Rest and Residue of my Estate and Effects real and personal and of whatever nature kind or description that I may die possessed of or entitled unto I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my brother Joseph Grimwood of ffinsbury Terrace aforesaid Tea Dealer for his absolute use and benefit and I hereby revoke and make void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and thirty six
