In the Name of God Amen I Mary Griffiths of the Town Caerleon in the County of Monmouth Spinster and mindful of my mortality do this ninth day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following I give and bequeath unto my Executors hereinafter named All my monies in the ffunds In trust that they or the Survivor of them his executors or Admors shall after my decease pay and apply the interest or produce hereof unto my brother Edward Griffiths of the said Town of Caerleon in the same County when and as the same shall become due and payable from time to time during the term of his natural life and from and after his decease I do hereby give and bequeath the said Monies unto and amongst all and every Child or Children of the said Edward Griffiths lawfully begotten or to be begotten living at the time of his decease in equal shares and Proportions and in case any or either of them shall die before the said Edward Griffiths leaving a Child or Children lawfully begotten the share or shares of him her or them so dying shall go to his her or their Child or Children respectively in equal shares and Proportions Also I give and bequeath all my wearing apparel to my Executors to be distributed by them at their discretion to my sister and my brother Also I give and bequeath unto James Hussey the Sum of ten pounds Also I give to Elizabeth Bray and Mary Watkins a suit of Mourning each all the rest and residue of my personal Estate and Effects I give & bequeath unto my said Executors for the use of the said Edward Griffiths at the discretion of the said Executors In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal the day and year above written And I hereby appoint John Hammon Pritchard Esq and John Jenkins Esq of the said Town of Caerleon Executors to this my last Will and Testament The mark X of Mary Griffiths
