In the Name of God Amen I Martha Griffiths of Oswestry being this the mercy of God weak in body but of sound understanding & memory do make this my last Will & Testament as follows I do give to my only Sister Catharine Griffiths all my Property after my death & to remain her full Property so long as she lives at which time all the Property to be given to Miss Marianne Congreve of Inys Park near Whitchurch Salop the Property as followeth one Silver Watch two large Silver Table Spoons & one small Do, half dozen tea Spoons & all that is at the Bank with my Sheeting & Table Linen & all my best wearing apparel also I do give to Mrs Sarah Haycock one pair of Sheets marked M G also to Martha Shorne one pair of Sheets marked M G & for each & either of them one best quilt with all my own Wearing apparel to be divided equally between the both after my Sister’s death till then nothing to be stirred also I give to Sarah Haycock One Bureau Also after my Sister Catherine Griffiths death the following Property to be sold one ffeather Bed & Bolster & two Pillows one Bedstead with hangings 2 pair of Blankets 2 Chest of Drawers 2 Boxes & several Trunks one large oak Chest five chairs two tables wash hand Stand night stool two Pictures & two looking Glasses set of ffive Irons & fender two oak Cupboards & the money to be delivered to Miss Congreve In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the 21st day of October in the year of our Lord 1815 Martha Griffiths as her last Will & testament in the presence of us Richd Jones Benjn Jones
