The Will of John Greenup

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Greenup of Beverley in the County of York Plumber and Glazier made this sixth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight ffirst I direct all my Just Debts and ffuneral Expences to be paid I Give unto Ann the Wife of Mr Thomas Mugless of Beverley aforesaid Plumber and Glazier twenty pounds unto Ann Stones now also living in the family of the said Thomas Mugless ten Pounds unto Robert Brown of Beverley aforesaid Cabinet Maker and Elizabeth his Wife and Ann Brown their daughter five pounds apiece and unto John Hunsley of Beverley aforesaid Plumber and Glazier two Guineas I Give all the residue of my Personal Estate unto the said Mr Thomas Mugless and appoint him sole Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and Year first above written  –  John Greenup
