The Will of Zachariah Gravener

 

In the Name of God Amen I Zachariah Gravener Tin Plate Worker being the 22nd day of March 1825 being in Jamaica Row in the Parish of Bermondsey in the County of Surry being weak in body but sound in mind I resign my Soul into the hands of him who gave it and wait his call I constitute and appoint my beloved Wife Sarah Gravener whole & sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby give to my beloved Wife Sarah Gravener all my Cash bills Notes of hand or securities for money with all money I have in the ffunds together with all my book Debts and Goods my household furniture Plate Glass China books with every species of Property I may die possessed of for the following purposes ffirst I require all my Debts and ffuneral expences be paid as soon as possible The remainder of my property I bequeath & give to my beloved Wife Sarah Gravener for her own use and benefit for Ever and I hereunto have Sign’d my name with my own hand & Pen as being my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills made by me in the Presence of Samuel Jennings of Rotherhithe Timber Mercht who is Witness to the same with Mary Allen of Rotherhithe also Zachariah Gravener 22 March 1825   Proved at London 2 July 1825   PCC Prob11/1701
