In the Name of God Amen I Matthew Gould of
Newton in the Parish of Studland and Isle of Purbeck and County
of Dorset Yeoman Do make and Ordain this my last Will and
Testament in manner and Form following
Viz. I Give and Bequeath to my Dearly
Beloved Wife Betty Gould all my Property, that is Live and Dead
Stock Crops Monies Debts Dues Household Goods and Furniture and
every thing God shall Please to endow me with at my Decease for
her Natural Life and at her Decease the one half of the Property
to go to my Youngest Son Moses Gould and the Other Part or Half
to go to my Other Children that is to say to three Other Sons
David Gould William Gould and Henry Gould and to my five
Daughters that is Jane Churchill Elizabeth Heysome Sarah Randall
Ann Summers Susannah Dier to be equal divided amongst them Also
my Desire is that my son David Gould should have my Wearing
Apparel at my Decease Also my Desire is that my son Moses Gould
Shall have my Bed and Bedstead whereon I sleep myself and one
Other Bed and Bedstead to my Daughter Jane Churchill and one
Other Bed and Bedstead to my Daughter Ann Summers and one Other
Bed and Bedstead to my Daughter Susannah Dier Also my Desire is
that my Grandson David Gould shall have my Watch Also my son
Moses Gould shall have my Cart and Salting Selt Whom I likewise
Constitute and Appoint My sole Executor of this my last Will and
Testament My further Desire is that my Daughter Susannah Dyer
shall have my Clock And I do hereby Utterly Revoke Disannul and
Disallow all Other former Wills Legacies Bequests of Testaments
before made or Named by me Ratifying and Confirming this and no
other to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have
hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Twentieth Day of November in
the Year of our Lord God One Thousand eight Hundred and Twenty
one
