The Will of Henry Goodwell

 

This is the last will and testament of me HENRY GOODWELL of Richmond glover. First I give and bequeath all that house situate and standing upon the Green in Richmond wherein I now live unto my dearly beloved wife ISABELL GOODWELL for and during so long time as she the said ISABEL GOODWELL continue my widow and in case she happen to marry again or dies then my will and mind is that the said house bequeathed to her shall go to my second son RALPH GOODWELL. I give unto my eldest son HENRY GOODWELL the sum of one shilling to be paid by my executor hereinafter named immediately after my decease. I give and bequeath all my household goods whatsoever that is within the house where I now live unto my dear wife ISABEL GOODWELL for and during so long as she continue my widow or dies ... then my will and mind is I give and bequeath the said household furniture and so forth unto my daughters ISABEL, MARGARET, ELEANOR and ELIZABETH GOODWELL share and share alike. I do hereby appoint my said wife ISABEL GOODWELL sole executrix.
