In the name of god Amen I Ann Geldart
sicke in bodie yet p’ficte in mynd and memorei praized be god
for the same doe make this my Last will and testment in manner
and forme following vizt first I Committ my soule into the
marciffull hand of Allmightie god my maker and my bodie to the
earth from wheace it Came, And as for my worldly Estate I give
and bequeath as is expressed hereafter Ite’ it is my will and
mynd and I give to the Children of will’m Geldart Late of
Cartmell 10s Equaly to be devyded amongst them and to the
Children of Georg Geldart of Kendall other 10s Equaly amongst
them Ite’ I give to will’m Strickland 10s and to Robte and
Ellin Ether of them 5s sonnes and daughter of Thomas Strickland
10s Ite’ I give to Ann Geldart daughter of will’m Geldart 10s,
Ite’ I give to my towe ants ulverston 20s the use thereof to
be given to the pore upon Chrismas E.en yearely Item I give to
my uncle Edward Geldart 20s that is in his owne hand and thother
20s w’ch remanes in his hand to my Exec’ Ite’ I give fyve pond
of wolle to John Seele, Executor I appoynt Thomas Strickland of
ulverston he paying and discharging all Legaces and Funerall
Expences out of my house and goods and the remander to my exec’
Supp’vyeres I Intreat Francs Troughton and Edward
Tuzseday disereing them to see this my will p’formed as my trust
is in them In testimony whereof I the said Ann Geldart have
hereunto sett my hand marke the daie and yeare above said
