In the Name of God Amen I William Gawin late of Chancery Lane London but now of Epsom in the County of Surry fframeworkknitter do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say ffirst I will and direct that all my just debts and ffuneral Expences shall be paid and satisfied by my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named And I desire to be buried at the East end of the Church in the Church Yard of Great Bookham in the County of Surry I give and bequeath to Mr Joseph Austers Victualler of Chapel Street near the Lock Hospital the Sum of Ten Pounds I give and bequeath to Henry Redwood of Chancery Lane London fframeworkknitter the Sum of ffive Hundred Pounds Stock in the Bank of England Three Pounds per cent reduced Annuities standing in my name But my intent and meaning is And I will and direct that the Interest and Dividends arising from the said ffive hundred Pounds Stock shall go to and be paid to my Wife Ann Gawin during the Term of her natural life for her sole use and benefit All the residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Wife Ann Gawin and I do appoint Mr Joseph Austers above mentioned and my Wife Ann Gawin Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Eighteenth day of January in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Ninety Wm Gawin
