In the Name of God Amen The Thirtieth day
of November 1717 I Elizabeth Gaston Widow of Capell in the
County of Surrey being of good and perfect Memory thanks be to
Almighty God and calling to remembrance the uncertain Estate of
this Transitory Life and that all fflesh must yield unto Death
when it shall please God to call Doe make constitute Ordaine and
Declare this my lsat Will and Testament revokeing and Annulling
by these presents all and every Testament and Testaments Will
and Wills heretofore by me made and Declared either by word or
Writing and this to be taken only for my Last Will and Testament
and noe other And ffirst being penitent and sorry from the
bottom of my Heart for my Sins past most humbly desiring
fforgiveness for the same I give and commit my Soul unto
Almighty God my Saviour and Redeemer in whome and by the Merits
of Jesus Christ I Trust and beleive assuredly to be Saved and to
have full remission and fforgiveness of all my Sins And that my
Soul with my Body at the general Day of Resurrection shall rise
again with joy and through the Merits of Christ’s Death and
Passion Possess and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for
his Elect and Chosen, and my Body to be buried in such place
where it shall please my Executors hereafter named to appoint
And now for the Setling of my Temporal Estate and such Goods
Chattels and Debts as it hath pleased God far above my Deserts
to bestow upon me I doe order give and Dispose the same in
manner and form following that is to say, ffirst I will thst all
those Debts and Duties as I owe in right or Conscience to any
manner of person or persons whatsoever shall be well and truely
contented and paid or Ordained to be paid within convenient time
after my Decease, by my Executors hereafter named. Item I given
and bequeath unto my Loving Brother John Constable one Guinea
Item I give and bequeath unto my Loving Cousin John Constable
Son of my said Brother John Constable Ninety pounds of Good and
Lawful Money of Great Britain I give and bequeath unto my Loving
Cousin Mary Constable Daughter of my said Brother John Constable
Ninety pounds of Good and Lawful Money of Great Britain paying
unto my said Brother before mentioned half Interest of their
Moneys (That is to say) my Cousin John Constable before
mentioned shall pay half Interest for Ninety Pounds during the
Life of my said Brother and my Cousin Mary Constable Shall pay
half Interest for her Ninety Pounds during the Life of my said
Brother before mentioned Item I give and bequeath unto my Loving
Cousin Thomas Constable son of my Brother Thomas Constable
ffifty pounds of Good and Lawful Money of Great Britain Item I
Give unto my Cousin Mary Titchener Daughter of my Brother John
Wheeler one Guinea Item I Give unto my Loveing Sister Mary
Wheeler Wife of my Brother John Wheeler before mentioned One
Guinea Item I Give unto my Cousin Susanna Wheeler Daughter of my
Brother John Wheeler thirty pounds of good and Lawful Money of
Great Britain Item I give unto my Cousin William Wheeler Son of
my said Brother John Wheeler One Guinea Guinea Item I Give unto
my Cousin Elizabeth Wheeler Daughter of my Brother John Wheeler
thirty pounds of good and Lawful Money of Great Britain Item I
Give unto my Cousin Anne Wheeler Daughter of my Brother John
Wheeler thirty pounds of good and Lawful Money of Great Britain
Item I Give unto my Cousin Hannah Wheeler Daughter of my Brother
John Wheeler thirty pounds of good and Lawful Money of Great
Britain further I Give and bequeath with the Proviso that my
money which is oweing from Charles Eversfield Esq be made Goods
to my Executor here after named Then my Will and Desire is (That
is to say) I give and Bequeath to my Cousin Mary Titchener
before mentioned ffive pounds of good and Lawful Money of Great
Britain And my Cousin John and my Cousin Mary Constable to have
One hundred pounds of good and Lawfull Money of Great Britain
paying half Interest of their same money unto my Brother John
Constable during his Life Item I give unto my Cousin John
Risbridger ffive pounds of good and Lawfull Money of
Great Britain In Case my money before mentioned be made good, if
not Then the said Mary Titchener before said to have but One
Guinea And the said John and Mary Constable to have but Ninety
Pounds a peice All the Rest of my Goods and Chattells whatsoever
I give and bequeath unto my Cousin John Wheeler Son of my
Brother John Wheeler whome I constitute and ordaine and make
sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Lastly I give
and bequeath ffive pounds unto my Brother John Constyable and
ffive pounds I give unto my Brother John Wheeler for their
trouble and Charges Whome I constitute and make Trustees of this
my Last Will and Testament containing three Sheets of Paper two
at the Top with a piece of White Tape and Seal at the Top upon
the knott of the said Tape my Legacies to be paid within a year
after my Decease In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal the day and year above mentioned And in the Third year
of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord George by the Grace of God
King of Great Briatin ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the

Sealed Pronounced and delivered in the presence of us _ the mark
of Susanna Mepham, John Risbridger, the mark of John Short
I Elizabeth Gaston give my Cousin Mary
Steere my hollow Ring i give my Cousin Hannah Denman my least
Ring, I give my Cousin Mary Constable my Silver Thimble I give
my Cousin Mary Titcheners Children each of them One Guinea I
give my Cousin William Titchener a Silver Cup of a Guinea price
I give my Cousin William Wheeler my Bed and all that belongs to
him And Andirons and my Clock I give my Cousin Elizabeth Wheeler
one ffeather pillow and my best Ring a full sute of my best
Cloaths my Cousin Susanna Wheeler the next best sute the rest of
my Cloaths I give my Sister Mary Wheeler at her Dispose And I
put my Loving Sister Mary Wheeler in Trust in my Will with my
Loving Brother John Constable in stead of my Brother John
Wheeler late Deceased my Saddle and Pillion and Spice Cupboard
I give my Cousin William Wheeler this I desire should be
fulfilled as it is above written as well as my Will but not
carried into the Court I give my Cousin William Wheeler a little
ffurnice I give Elizabeth Wheeler my Trust and if my substance
amount that my Executor of ffifty pound when all is discharged,
I give my above said Sister Mary Wheeler Tenn pound if there be
over and above his ffifty in money to pay for it _ the mark of
