This is the last will
and testament of me Joseph Fryer of Cannon Street Road in the
parish of Saint George in the County of Middlesex, Paper Merchant.
First I direct that all my just debts and funeral expences and the
costs and charges of proving this my will may be fully paid ....
All my freehold and leashold
estates wheresoever situate monies in the public funds shares in
public companies ?..? for monies household furniture plate linen and
china and All the rest and residue and remainder of my estate and
effects real or personal .... I give and devise and bequeath the
same... unto my son Joseph?......gen? Fryer of Cannon Street
Road aforesaid gentleman Peter Stainsby of Mecklenburg Square
in the County of Middlesex gentleman Thomas Cobley of Essex
Street Whitechapel in the said County of Middlesex carman ... upon
the several trusts and to and for the several ends intents and
purposes.... hereinafter decalred ...
As to all and singular my
furniture plate and linen and china.... my dear wife Mary Fryer
to hold occupy possess and enjoy the same... during her natural life
if she shall so long remain unmarried ... interest dividends... to
pay the same to ym dear wife ... support of herself and the
maintenance ... of my dear children
on the decease of the wife, or
her remarriage, the trustees to take furniture etc and to make a
sale and inverst the money in Parliamentary stocks and funds.. for
maintenance and education of my children...

I do hereby nominate
constitute and appoint my said dear wife, during her widowhood,
jointly with the said Joseph ?....gen Fryer, peter stainsby and
Thomas Cobley Executrix and Executors of this my last will and
testament... 8 November 1838
