The Will of Christopher Fryer

 

This is the last will and testament of me Christopher Fryer of Fox’s Lane, Shadwell, in the County of Middlesex, Tobacconist. I give and bequeath all my estate and effects of whatsoever nature or kinf unto my son in law John Bailey scholey and Abraham Colt of New Road, St George’s in the East in the said County of Middlesec, gentleman their heirs executors administrators and assigns In trust to se;; and dispose of the same and to levy and apply the monies to arise therefrom in the first place in payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences And after payment thereof in trust to pay the interest thereof to my dear wife Ann Fryer for her life and after her deceased in trust to assign traansfer and pay the captial of the said stocks funds and securities unto my dear daughter Margaret Maria Scholey wige of the said John Bailey Scholey the executors admististratos and assigns and I appoint the same John Bailey Scholey , Abraham Cole to be executors of this mty will and I declare and ?....? that the receipt of my said Trustees and the survivor of them shall be a good and sufficient discharge for all monies which shall be paid to them by virtue of the trust hereintofore mentioned and created and that the person or persons ?purpose? the same sahll not be answerable or accoubntable for the application thereof. In witness whereof I the said Christopher Fryer do hereunto set my hand and seal this 12 day of December in the year of our Lord 1829.

This is a Codicil to the above written will of me the above named Christopher Fryer now of York Place, Denmark Hill Camberwell in the county of Surrey. I hereby revoke the appointment made by my will of the above named Abraham Cole and I do hereby appoint William Fryer of Duncan street, Whitechapel in the county of Middlesex Sugar Refiner to be an executor of my said will together with my son in law John Bailey Scholey And I hereby ratify and confirm my said will except so far as the same is hereby altered. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24 April 1830
