This is the last Will
and Testament of me Thomas Fox of North Street, Aston,
Oxfordshire, Farmer made this Twenty fourth day of March One
thousand eight hundred and fifty eight as follows In the first
place I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary
expences to be paid out of my personal estate (except if any
mortgage debt or debts due on deposit of deeds which debt or
debts shall remain a charge on the premises charged therewith) I
give all my personal estate to my Friend William Luckett of
North Street aforesaid Farmer Upon trust to carry on my personal
or any other farming business as long as the same can be carried
on to advantage and pay the profits thereof or the interest of
the conversion of such personal estate into money in case of
giving up the business to my wife Elizabeth during her natural
life and after her decease Upon trust if not already converted
into money to convert the same into money and pay Twenty pounds
to my son Job Ten pounds to my grandson Alfred Coombes and
divide the residue equally between my daughter Martha and my
sons William Robert James and Job I appoint the said William
Luckett sole Executor of this my Will and declare that he shall
not be answerable for any loss accident or damage which may
happen to the said trust estate and premises In Witness whereof
I the said Thomas Fox the Testator have hereunto set my hand the
day and year first above written Thomas Fox Signed by
the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the
joint presence of us present at the same time who at his request
in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto
subscribed our names as Witnesses R.H.Bullen, sol.

On the twenty sixth day
of January 1861 the Will of Thomas Fox late of North Street
Aston in the Parish of Bampton in the County of Oxford, Farmer,
deceased, who died on the Twenty fourth day of October 1860 at
Aston aforesaid, was proved in the District Registry attached to
Her Majesty's Court of Probate at Oxford by the oath of William
Luckett of North Street, Aston aforesaid, Farmer, the sole
Executor therein named he having been first sworn duly to
administer.
