This is the Will and Testament  of me Charles Fox of Aston in the Parish of Bampton in the County of Oxford. I appoint my daughter Charlotte Hemming to take charge of my two youngest children, Ellen and Albert and in consideration of her undertaking the above charge I give and bequeath to my said daughter Charlotte Hemming the sum of thirty five pounds sterling money to be provided by the sale of my effects and I give my best bedstead and bedding complete to my son Manoah, and I give my next best bedstead and bedding to my daughter Ellen, and I also give my next best bedstead and bedding to my son Albert and I give my remaining bed and bedding to my daughter Charlotte Hemming. I also wish and require that my son Manoah be repaid out of the sale of my effects the sum of money whatsoever it may be at my death which he (Manoah) has laid out on my account so far as my effects will allow after the settlement of the above bequests. And I desire that my money which may remain from the sale of my effects after the above bequests have been satisfied shall be equally divided (share and share alike) between my children, Charlotte Hemming, Jane, John, Manoah, Charles and Leonard and I appoint Edward Lindsey Townsend senior of Aston and Richard Townsend of Cote House to be my executors
