The Will of Benjamin Fox

 

In the Name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Benjamin Fox late of Barbican but now of Islington in the County of Middlesex Silk Dyer ffirst I will order and direct that all my Just debts ffuneral Expences and the Expences of Proving this my Will may be fully paid and satisfied so soon after my decease as conveniently may be and after payment thereof I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Fox the sum of three hundred pounds three per cent Consolidated Bank Annuity being part of the sum of four hundred and seventy five pounds now standing in my name in the Books of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England and my mind and will is that the Interest and Dividends of the said sum of three hundred pounds shall be received from time to time by my Executor herein after named and by him paid or applied to and for the use of my said Daughter until she shall attain her Age of twenty one years or be married and that the said sum of three hundred pounds shall be transferred to her on her attaining her said age of twenty one years or marriage as aforesd and as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and Bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my wife Sarah Ann ffox for her sole use and benefit for ever and I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint James Tootell of Swinton Street Grays Inn Road in the County of Middlesex Gentleman sole Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventeenth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four Benjamin Fox
