The Will of Martha Foster

 

March 27th Anno dom 1669


In the name of God Amen I Martha Foster of Harrowden in the parish of Cardington Gent being sicke and weake in body but of sound and perfect remembrance doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following viz first I give to Mrs Rebecca Foster my mother my two acres of Medow or .... in Fenlake mead to her the said Mrs Rebecca and her heires for ever Item I give and devise to Rebecca Foster my elder Sister that my Mane or Royallty with the proffitts thereof to her the said Elizabeth my Sister and her heires for ever in as ample manner as the same is holden viz after the death of my mother Item I give and bequeath my said Sister Elizabeth Ten pounds Item I give to Mary Foster my youngest sister Ten pounds Item I give to Martha Pymore my Godchild fouwre shillings Item all the rest of my monys Bonds debts Goods Chattells and whatsoever is mine not diposed of before to my said Mother Mrs Rebecca Foster whom I appoint sole executrix of this my will desireing her to performe according to my meaning and I revoke all former Wills and Testaments by me made and declare this to be my Will and Testament and in witnesses I have sett to my hand and seale
