The Will of Grace Foster

In the name of God amen the ninth day of March in the first yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittaine ffrance and Ireland King defender of the ffaith Anno Dm 1714 I Grace ffoster of Leighton Buzzard in the County of Bedf widdow being of Indifferent health in body and of sound and perfect mind and memory God be praised therefore doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say first and principally I doe comend my soule unto the hands of almighty God my Creator trusting to be saved by the merritts of Jesus Christ my Redeemer for my body I doe comitt the same to the Earth decently to be buried and for my Worldly Goods and Estate I doe dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I doe give and bequeath unto Mary Andrewes and Elizabeth Andrewes my Kinswomen the sum of Ten Pounds apeice of Lawful money of Great Brittaine Item I doe give will and bequeath unto Elizabeth Wells my kinswoman now wife of John Wells and Joane Simes spinster daughters of Joane Simes widdow my Kinswoman the sum of five pounds apeice of lawful money of Great Brittaine Item I doe give and bequeath unto Joane Gregory spinster my Kinswoman the Same Item I doe give and bequeath unto George Gregory my Kinsman and Elizabeth his wife the sume of two pounds apeice of Lawful money of Great Brittaine and my will is that all and every the aforesaid legacyes shall be paid by my Executrix out of my Personall Estate within six months next after my decease Item all the rest residue and remainder of my money goods household stuffe bills bonds Mortgages debts Credits Chattells and personall Estate Whatsoever after Legacyes and funerall expences shall be paid and discharged I doe give will and bequeath unto Sarah Onion Widdow my Kinswoman & I doe ordayne and make her the said Sarah Onion my Kinswoman full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testamt And I doe hereby Revoke and make voide all former wills made or spoken and Doe pronounce and declare this psent to be my Last Will and Testamt In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale the day and year ffirst above written Grace Ffoster her marke Signed Sealed and Acknowledged and Declared in the presence of us who have hereunto set our hands in the presence of the Testatrix Joyce Ffoster - John Ashwell Elizabeth Burnham her marke
