This is the last will and testament of me DEBORAH FOSSICK of Newtown in the parish of Great Aycliffe in the County of Durham widow. First I will that all such debts as I shall justly owe at the time of my decease together with my funeral charges and expences be in the first place paid by my executor hereinafter named and as to my estate both real and personal I dispose thereof as follows that is to say I give and devise unto my son THOMAS FOSSICK all those my freehold messuages lands and tenements and hereditaments situate and lying at Appleton upon Wiske in the County of Yorkshire and also all other my messuages lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever situate and lying and being in the North Riding of the County of York to have and to hold ... and to the use of the said THOMAS FOSSICK his heirs and assigns ....

Item I give and bequeath unto my son GEORGE FOSSICK £100 to be paid to him within 12 months after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my son DANIEL FOSSICK the like sum of £100 to be paid to him within 12 months after my decease. I give and bequeath to my grandson ROBERT FOSSICK son of my said son DANIEL FOSSICK £50 to be paid to him within 12 months after my decease.

As for and concerning all the rest and residue of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath the same to my son THOMAS FOSSICK... and I do hereby consitute and appoint my said son THOMAS FOSSICK sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31 May 1765
