Consistory Court
of Durham
This is the last
Will and
Testament of me
Jane Forster of
Alnwick in the
County of
Northumberland
Spinster First I
order and direct
all my just
debts and
funeral and
testamentary
expences be paid
and discharged
by my Executor
hereinafter
named as soon as
convenient after
my decease Item
I give and
bequeath unto my
sister Mary
Burrell of
Alnwick
aforesaid Widow
the legacy or
sum of One
hundred pounds
of lawful
English money
and unto my
sister Lucinda
Forster of the
same place
Spinster the
like legacy or
sum of One
hundred pounds
of like lawful
money And I
direct that the
said Legacies
shall be paid at
the expiration
of six months
next after my
decease And I do
hereby give and
bequeath unto my
sister Margaret
Sykes Widow One
annuity or clear
yearly sum of
forty pounds of
lawful English
money payable on
four days of
payment in the
year (that is to
say) Candlemas,
May Day Lammas
and Martinmas
the first
payment thereof
to commence on
such of the said
days as shall
first happen
next after my
decease And
subject to and
charged with the
payment of the
said Annuity of
Forty Pounds And
also to and with
the payment of
the said
legacies of One
hundred pounds
and One hundred
pounds I do
hereby give and
devise unto my
brother Joseph
Forster of
Alnwick
aforesaid
Esquire and to
his heirs and
assigns for ever
All that my
freehold
property situate
in Blackman
Street in the
Borough of
Southwark in the
County of Surrey
and all other my
real Estate
whatsoever and
wheresoever And
as to all my
ready money in
the funds and
securities for
money household
goods and
furniture plate
china linen and
woollen and all
and singular
Other my
Personal estate
and Effects I do
hereby give and
bequeath the
same unto my
said brother
Joseph Forster
to and for his
own use and
benefit And I do
hereby name and
appoint my said
brother Joseph
Forster Executor
of this my Will
and hereby
revoking all
other Will and
Wills by me at
any time
heretofore made
I publish and
declare this to
be and contain
my last Will and
Testament In
witness whereof
I have hereunto
set my hand and
