I William Fletcher of Askrigg shopkeeper .....

To my cousin Peggy Thompson of Askrigg, spinster, all my messuages, lands, tenements and real estate  and also all my goods chattels monies and personal estate. And I make Peggy Thompson my executrix. Signed and sealed before

Witnesses Richard Balderston, Robert Bowman, Joshua Lodge.

 

On 27 March 1820 appeared Peggy Thompson the sole executrix who swore the goods did not exceed £450.
