The Will of William Flack

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Flack of Huntingdon in the County of Huntingdon Tailor I bequeath the household furniture beds and bedding plate linen china glass liquors fuel and housekeeping stores of which I shall die possessed unto my Wife Mary fflack absolutely she paying all my debts and funeral expences (except debts owing by me and secured by Notes of Hand) which I direct shall be paid out of my residuary personal Estate hereinafter bequeathed) I bequeath to my said Wife a Legacy of two hundred and fifty pounds absolutely I bequeath to my daughter Anna fflack a legacy of four hundred pounds absolutely And subject to the payment of the above mentioned Legacies and any debt or debts which I may owe at my decease and secured by Note of Hand and my Testamentary expences and all expences incidental thereto I bequeath the Residue of my Personal Estate unto my two Sons George fflack and William fflack in equal shares as tenants in common I devise the dwelling house outbuildings and orchard situate at Buckden aforesaid now in my own occupation also the two cottages adjoining in the occupation of David Heaton and William Murdin to my said Wife and her assigns for her life if she continue my Widow and on her decease or second marriage I devise the same to my said son George fflack for life and on his decease I devise the same .....unto his daughter Mary Ann fflack her heirs and assigns for ever I devise all those my four cottages or tenements and close of land situate at Hunts End in Buckden aforesaid late Dr Maltby’s now in the respective occupations of William Clark and William fflanders Sarah Ginn William Middleton and John Virgin to my said Wife and her assigns for her life if she continue my Widow and on her decease or second marriage I devise the same to my said son William fflack his heirs and assigns for ever I devise all those two cottages and premises situate in Buckden aforesaid near to my dwelling house now in the respective occupations of William Osborne and Abraham Jenkins Also all that my Close of Land situate at Hardwick in the parish of Buckden aforesaid now in the occupation of Christopher Smith unto my said Son George fflack and his assigns for Life and after his decease I devise the same to his second daughter Elizabeth fflack her heirs and assigns for ever I declare that the provision hereby made for my said Wife shall be accepted by her in full in satisfaction of her claims to dower and free.....of any real estate of which I have been or now am or shall be seized I devise all estates vested in me as trustee or mortgagee to my Executrix and Executor hereinafter named subject to the subject to the Equities affecting the same I appoint my said Wife and my Brother in Law Henry Quince of Goodmanchester in the County of Huntingdon Gentleman Executrix and Executor of this my Will Lastly I revoke all other Wills In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine William Flack
