The Will of Charlotte Flack

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Charlotte Flack of the Town of Cambridge in the County of Cambridge Spinster I give and bequeath unto Thomas Allen of the said Town of Cambridge Law Stationer whom I appoint sole Executor of this my Will all and singular the monies stocks funds and securities for money shares in any Company and all other my Personal Estate of whatsoever kind which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease Upon the following trusts (namely) Upon Trust to pay the interest and annual produce thereof to my Brother John fflack during the term of his natural life with full and uncontrolled power for my said Executor to advance any part of the principal of my said personal estate and trust monies at his discretion for the benefit or advantage of my said Brother or to invest the whole or any part thereof in the purchase of an annuity for my said Brother if my said Executor shall deem it advisable to do so And from and after the decease of my said Brother John fflack Upon Trust to pay or transfer the said personal estate and trust monies so much thereof (if any) as shall then remain unappropriated unto my Sister Elizabeth Bland for her own use and benefit And I give to my said Executor full and absolute power to vary the securities in which the said trust monies may be invested in any way which he in his discretion shall think proper And I declare that my said Executor may out of the monies which may come to his hands under the aforesaid trusts reimburse himself all expenses which he may be put to in the execution thereof And that he shall not be answerable for any loss which may happen except through his own wilful neglect or default nor for any other monies than such as shall actually come unto his hands As witness my hand this fourth day of November one thousand eight hundred and forty six _ Charlotte Flack
