This is the last Will and Testament of Me Elizabeth Field of Thame in the County of Oxford, Spinster being of sound and disposing mind (praised be God) I give to my Niece ffrances Collyer Wife of John Collyer of Birmingham the legacy of fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain I give to each of my Great Nephews John Brooks and Thomas Brooks the Sons of my late Niece Mary Maria Brooks deceased the legacy of twenty five pounds of like money To my Nephew William ffield son of my late Brother Thomas ffield deceased the legacy of nineteen pounds nineteen shillings of like money and to each of my Nieces Maria ffield and Sarah ffield Daughters of my said late Brother Thomas ffield the legacy of nineteen pounds nineteen shillings All which legacies I direct shall be paid by my Executors out of my Personal estate within six months after my decease I give all my plate to my Niece Elizabeth the Wife of Edward Brooks of Birmingham Grocer I give to Rachel the Wife of Thomas Webster of Thame the legacy of five pounds and also a respectable suit of mourning to be paid and delivered to her on my decease and I give to David Coghill of Thame ffarmer my sofa Mattrass and Carpets and all other my household goods my linen china ready money securities for money and all other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever not hereinbefore specifically bequeathed of which I shall be possessed or entitled unto at my decease unto and equally between my three Nieces Ann the Wife of the Reverend John Hillyard the said Elizabeth the Wife of the said Thomas Brooks and Caroline Woodhill the Wife of Josiah Cox Woodhill of Birmingham factor as tenants in common their respective Executors Administrators and Assigns subject nevertheless to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expences and the pecuniary legacies hereinbefore bequeathed And I nominate and appoint the said Thomas Brooks and Josiah Cox Woodhill Executors of this my Will and I devise to my said Executors all the real estates which at my decease shall be vested in me as mortgagee subject to the equities affecting the same but nevertheless as to the Principal and Interest monies secured thereby for the benefit of my aforesaid residuary legatees and I revoke all former wills by me made In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth ffield the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand this thirty first day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two  Elizabeth Field
