In the name of God Amen the five and twenty day of March in the yeare of our Lord god 1637 I George fferris als Dennis of Hinton in the County of Gloucester sicke in body but of perfect memory Doe make this my last will and testament following ffirst I bequeath my soule to Almighty god hoping to be saved by the merritts of Jesus Christ. And my body I comitt unto the Christian ffunerall in the church yard of Hinton And as for my worldly goods I dispose as followeth Imprimis I give to George fferris my sonne twenty shillings Item I give unto Alice fferris my Goddaughter tenn shillings Item I give unto Thomas fferris my sonne five shillings Item I give to Elizabeth fferris my daughter two shillings six pence Item I give to Ann fferris my daughter two shillings six pence Item I give to Katherine Sandull my goddaughter six pence Item my will is that the guifts and Legacies above written shalbe paid within two yeares after my decease Moreover I give and bequeath unto Edmond fferris William fferris and Thomas fferris my three youngest sonnes to each and every one of them sixteene pounds to be paid them when they shalbe one and twenty yeares of age, that is each one his portion when he is one and twenty yeares of age And my will is that if it shall happen that either of them shall dye before he shalbe of the age of twenty one yeares Then his portion of sixteene pounds to be devided betweene the other two brethren All the rest of my goods and cattells I give and bequeath unto Margarett fferris als Dennis my wife whom I make my whole Executrix of this my will and she to pay my debts and Legacies according to this my will In wittnes whereof I putte my hand the day and yeare above written I make Henry Russell and George fferris Overseers of this my will Signum testatoris Wittnesses John Pope Clerc Anthony Vaughan
