The Will of Charles William Fellows

 

 I Charles William Fellows of Henley Cottage St Mary’s Road Southampton do by this my Last Will and Testament give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth Fellows for her whole and sole use during her life all personal property including Furniture Plate linen and also all monies either in my personal possession or due to me including the Life Policy in the Office of the Whittington Life Assurance Company for one hundred pounds also this cottage known as Henley Cottage St. Mary’s Road Southampton and upon the death of my said wife Elizabeth Fellows providing my daughter Elizabeth Kate Fellows shall have attained the age of Twenty one years the said house before mentioned to be sold and the proceeds equally divided between my three children Charles Henry Fellows George Samuel Fellows and Elizabeth Kate Fellows or should my said wife Elizabeth Fellows die before my daughter Elizabeth Kate Fellows shall have attained the age of Twenty one years the before mentioned house to be let and the rent to be devoted to the maintenance of my said daughter Elizabeth Kate Fellows . I also do hereby appoint my said wife Elizabeth Fellows as Executrix together my son Charles Henry Fellows as Executor.

In the Goods of Charles William Fellows deceased.

I Henry Fellows of No 15 Chapel Road in the Town and County of the Town of Southampton Detective Officer make Oath that I am one of the subscribing Witnesses to the Last Will and Testament of Charles William Fellows late of Henley Cottage St. Mary’s Road Southampton aforesaid Cook in the Service of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company deceased the said Will being now hereunto annexed bearing date the 3rd day of May 1870 and that the said Testator executed the said Will on the day of the date thereof by signing his name at the foot or end thereof as the same now appears thereon in the presence of me and of Frederick John Bamford the other.
