The Will of Richard Feast

 

I Richard Feast of the Town of Ware in the County of Hertford being thank God of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding Do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and devise all that my Messuage or Tenement with the Outhouses Buildings Yards Gardens and Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in the Town of Ware aforesaid and now in my own Occupation unto my Wife Elizabeth ffeast for and during the Term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise my said Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances unto my Son John ffeast his Heirs and Assigns for ever subject nevertheless and Chargeable and I do hereby subject and Charge all and singular the said premises to and with the Payment of the sum of ffifty Pounds apiece of lawful Money of Great Britain which I hereby give and bequeath unto my two Daughters Elizabeth ffeast and Sally Gibson ffeast to be paid to them respectively within three months next after my said Son John ffeast or his Heirs shall come into the Possession thereof Also I give and devise all those my two Messuages or Tenement in Kibes Lane in Ware aforesaid with the Appurtenances which I purchased of James Lambe Esquire unto my said Wife Elizabeth ffeast for and during the Term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise my said Messuages or Tenements in Kibes Lane aforesaid unto my said two Daughters Elizabeth ffeast and Sally Gibson ffeast equally to be divided between them share and share alike and to their respective Heirs and Assigns for ever To hold as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants Also I give and bequeath all my Ready Money Securities for Moneys Goods Chattells and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Wife Elizabeth her Executors and Administrators to and for her and their own absolute use and disposal And I Constitute and appoint my said Wife Elizabeth ffeast and my said Son John ffeast Executors of this my Will and I revoke all former and other Wills by me made and I declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Eighth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty three Richd Feast
