This is the last Will
and Testament of me
Hannah Fearnley of
Blackburn in the County
of Lancaster, Widow. I
direct my just debts
funeral and testamentary
expenses to be paid as
soon as possible after
my decease by my
Executors hereinafter
mentioned. I give
devise and bequeath all
my real and personal
Estate and Effects
whatsoever and
wheresoever and of what
nature or kind soever
and whether in reversion
remainder or expectancy
unto my Son John
Fearnley now residing in
Blackburn aforesaid
Organ Builder for his
own use and benefit
absolutely. I appoint
my said Son and my
Brother-in-Law James
Farr of Halifax in the
County of York Chemist
and Druggist Executors
of this my Will. I
evoke all former Wills
and declare this to be
my Last Will and
Testament. In Witness
whereof I the said
Hannah Fearnley have
hereunto set my hand
this sixteenth day of
February One thousand
eight hundred and
seventy five.

PROBATE DOCUMENT
In her Majesty’s High
Court of Justice. Be it
known, that at the date
hereunder written, the
last Will and Testament
(a Copy whereof is
hereunto annexed) of
Hannah Fearnley late of
No. 4 Hardman Row Ridge
in Blackburn in the
County of Lancaster,
Widow, deceased, who
died on the first day of
March 1877 at No. 4
Hardman Row aforesaid
was proved and
registered in the
Principal Registry of
the Probate Division of
Her Majesty’s High Court
of Justice, and that
Administration of the
personal estate of the
said deceased was
granted by the aforesaid
Court to John Fearnley
the Son of the said
Deceased one of the
Executors named in the
said Will he having been
first sworn well and
faithfully to administer
the same. James Farr
the other Executor named
in the said Will having
renounced the Probate
and Execution thereof.
