The Will of Evan Evans

 

I Evan Evans of the parish of Lampeter in the county of Cardigan Gentleman being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and understanding do make my last Will and Testament as follows I give to my Sister Eleanor Rogers All my Household Goods and ffunriture of every kind for her own use and benefit I give and devise unto my Nephew James Rogers of Blackman Street Southwark in the County of Surry Brandy Merchant all and singular my ffreehold Messuages or Tenements Lands and Hereditaments with their Appurtenances whatsoever and wheresoever or which I am in any wise interested or entitled unto To hold the same unto my said Nephew ffrancis Rogers his heirs and assigns for ever I also give and bequeath to my said Nephew ffrancis Rogers all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever to hold to him his Executors and Admors for his and their own use and benefit and hereby revoking all former Wills by me made I declare this to be my last Will and Testament  and do appoint my said Nephew ffrancis Rogers sole Executor thereof In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of May one thousand seven hundred and eighty two Evan Evans X by Mark
