The Will of Elizabeth Eustace

 

I Elizabeth Eustace of Oakley in the Parish of Chinnor in the County of Oxford Widow do make my Will in manner following I give and bequeath unto my son John Eustace the legacy or sum of fifty pounds I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said son John and unto my son William Eustace their heirs executors and administrators according to the natures and qualities thereof respectively subject as to such as are trust or mortgage estates to the several trusts and equities affecting the same Upon trust to sell my real estate if any and to call in and convert into money such part of my personal estate as shall not consist of money and to stand possessed of the money to arise therefrom Upon trust to divide the same equally between such of my said sons John and William and my son Henry and my daughters Eliza Higgs, Amelia Eggleton, Jane Pocock, Susan Smith, Sarah Welch and Alice Heybourn as shall be living at the time of my decease I appoint my said sons John Eustace and William Eustace my Executors and declare this to be my last Will In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Eustace the Testatrix have hereunto set my hand this twelfth day of November One thousand eight hundred and seventy five

 

Signed by the said Elizabeth Eustace

the Testatrix as her Will in the presence of us

the undersigned who were both present at the                                     her

same time and subscribe our names as                             Elizabeth     X     Eustace

Witnesses in the presence of the Testatrix                                         mark

the said Will having been first read over to

her and she appeared perfectly to understand

the same and made her mark thereto in our

presence

                   John Seymour    his Clerk

 

 

Proved at Oxford the twenty second day of April 1879 by the Oath of John Eustace, the son, one of the Executors, to whom Administration was granted. Power reserved of making the like Grant to William Eustace, the son also, the other Executor.

The Testatrix Elizabeth Eustace was late of Oakley in the Parish of Chinnor in the County of Oxford Widow and died on the fifth day of April 1879 at oakley aforesaid.
