In the name of God
Amen I Abraham Eustace of Bledlow in
the County of Bucks Yeoman, being weak in body but of a sound
disposing mind and memory (praised be God) and being mindful of
man’s mortality and to the Intent that I may not depart this
life without having first settled and ordered things according
to my mind do therefore make and ordain this my last Will and
Testament in manner following commiting then my Soul into the
hands of Almighty God, hoping for Salvation through Jesus Christ
my redeemer and appointing my body to be decently buried at the
discretion of my Executors hereinafter named as touching the
goods and worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God
to bless me I dispose of the same as followeth, first I give
will and devise unto my loveing wife Frances Eustace fourteen
pounds of lawful money yearly and every year for and during the
term of her natural life if she soe long continueth solo and
unmarried to be paid unto my said wife Frances by my son Abraham
Eustace out of my freehold estate hereafter mentioned and
described, But if my wife should be married again then my will
is that the said legacy or annuity of fourteen pounds yearly as
aforesaid shall be paid no more unto my said wife after her soe
marrying again
Also I give will and
devise unto my son Abraham Eustace and unto his heirs and
assigns for ever all that messuage or tenement with the
appurtenances wherein I now dwell in Bledlow aforesaid with all
outhouses yards orchards gardens and backsides to the same
belonging and also all those nine acres of arable and two acres
of grass ground lying near and adjoining unto the said messuage
or tenement, which said messuage or tenement nine acres of
arable and two acres of grass ground with all and every their
appurtenances I charge and oblige for the payment of my wife’s
legacy or annuity as aforesaid is mentioned and described, And
further my Will is that my wife shall have the best Chamber and
the room under it belonging to my messuage as aforesaid for and
during the term of her natural life if she so long continueth a
widdow and not otherwise Also I give and bequeath unto my son
Abraham Eustace all other my freehold lands with all the
appurtenances thereunto belonging lying in the several parrishes
of Bledlow Sanderton or Chinnor or elsewhere to my son Abraham
Eustace and to his heirs and assigns for ever, Also I give will
and devise to my daughter Mary Eustace the sum of twenty pounds
of lawful money to be paid within one year after my decease Also
I give will and bequeath unto my son Thomas the sum of twenty
pounds of lawful money to put him out an Apprentice, Also I give
more unto my said son Thomas, the sum of one hundred pounds of
lawful money to be paid unto him at his age of one and twenty
years Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth
Eustace the sum of fifty pounds of lawful money to be paid her
at her age of one and twenty years, Also my will is if my wife
should be brought to bed and delivered of a son I give unto him
twenty pounds of lawful money to putt him out an apprentice,
Also I give more unto my son the sum of one hundred pounds of
lawful money to be paid him at his age of one and twenty years,
but if my wife should be delivered of a daughter, then my will
is and I give to her fifty pounds of lawful money to be paid her
at her age of one and twenty years, All which said legacies
before by me bequeathed shall be paid by my said son Abraham
Eustace out of my freehold estate soe given unto him as
aforesaid And I do hereby charge and oblige the said freehold
land for payment of the said several legacies in manner
aforesaid Also I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Eustace
all my stock and personal estate (except household goods) Also
I give and bequeath to my wife Frances Eustace the use of all my
household goods dureing her life or widdows estate and after her
decease or marrying again then I give and devise all my said
household goods equally amongst my children that is to say
Abraham Thomas Elizabeth and the child as is yet unborn, I do
nominate and appoint Mr William Eustace and my said loveing wife
Frances Eustace joynt executors of this my last Will and
Testament in Trust nevertheless and to the Intent and Purpose
that by and with the rents and profits of my said Estate or any
other improvements that may be made out of my personal estate
until my children come to their several age of one and twenty
years or otherwise (after my debts are paid) shall apply the
rest of the money or pay the same equally to my children (that
is to say) Abraham Thomas and the child as is yet unborn, if it
be a son, but if it should be a daughter, then the said money to
be shared between Abraham and Thomas as aforesaid at their
several age of one and twenty years And it shall be lawful for
my said Trustees to satisfie and pay themselves all such
reasonable charges and expenses that they shall be at for or by
reason of the trust hereby reposed In witness whereof I the
said Abraham Eustace Testator unto this my last Will and
Testament Revokeing and disanuling all former Wills by me made
have hereunto putt my hand and seal this six day of March in the
nineteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
second by the grace of God of great Brittain france and Ireland
King Defender of the faith and in the year of our Lord Christ
one thousand seven hundred forty and five
