This is the last Will and Testament of me James Ensom of Hatfield Hyde in the County of Herts Gentleman I give all my household furniture effects tools utensils and things and my live stock unto my Wife Ann Ensom for her own absolutely I give unto my Wife All my money in the public funds securities for money and all my other personalty Upon trust to receive and take the interest dividends and annual produce thereof during her life for her own use and benefit and after her decease

I give and bequeath the same unto and amongst my eight children namely William, Thomas, George, Daniel, James, Maryann, Emily and Eliza in equal shares and proportions as tenants in common but as to the shares therein of my said sons Thomas and George I declare that they shall only be entitled in the decease of my said Wife to their said shares of and in my said personal estate and effects on their each allowing to be deducted from or out of their respective shares the sum of fifty pounds which two sums of fifty pounds I declare shall be divided between and amongst all and every my said other children namely William, Daniel, James, Maryann, Emily and Eliza in equal shares as tenants in common my said sons the said Thomas and George having each already had more than each such sum of fifty pounds from me I give and devise all my freehold and other real estate unto and to the use of my said Wife during her life for her own use and benefit and from and after her decease I give and devise the same unto between and amongst my said eight children and their heirs in equal shares and proportions as tenants in common and I appoint my said Wife Ann Ensom Executrix of this my Will Dated this twenty fourth day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty one
