The Will of Ann Emmett
In the Name of God Amen I Ann Emmett of Trowbridge in the County of Wiltshire Spinster do make this my last Will and Testament as followeth that is to say
I Give to
my Nephew John Emmett Son of my late Brother John Emmett
to his Sister my Neice Mary Emmett & for Sarah the
Daughter of Stephen Whatley ffive Pounds a Piece and I
Give to the said Sarah Whatley my Mourning Gown All the
Rest of my Apparell both Linnen & other I Give to Betty
Bellamy All the rest of my Goods Chattles and Personal
Estate I Give to my Sister Elizabeth Stump whom I
constitute and Appoint Executrix of this my Will
revoking all former & other Wills at any time heretofore
by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my
mark the first day of October in the year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven hundred & fforty one, the mark of Ann
Emmett This Will was kindly transcribed and sent in by Ros.
