In the Name of God Amen I ffrancis Edwards
late of the Parish of Saint Just in the County of Cornwall
Gentleman do make and publish this to be my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)ffirst
and Principally I bequeath my Soul to God that gave it and my
Body to the Earth out of which it was formed in the Hope and
Confidence of a joyful Resurrection at the last Day through the
Merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer and as touching
my Chattel Moneys and Effects which shall properly and of right
belong to me at this present time or at the time of my Death I
give and devise the same in the following manner My Will and
meaning is that my Executor hereinafter named shall decently
bury me in a frugal Manner Item I devise unto my Cousin Mary
Jeffrys of the Town of Penzance in Cornwall aforesaid Widow the
full and just sum of ten Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain
to be paid her in manner as is hereinafter expressed Item all my
Goods Chattels and Monies devised to me by the last Will and
Testament of William Worth being one hundred Pounds Sterling I
devise the same and every Part and Parcel thereof to my faithful
ffriend and Kinsman John Madden of the Town of Penzance
aforesaid Mason And I do hereby nominate constitute and Appoint
the said John Madden abovementioned to be my sole Executor of
this my Will In Trust for the Payment of the above Devise to
Mary Jeffrys at the End of ten Days next after he shall receive
the Moneys devised me by William Worth as before recited and
not otherwise And that farther my Will and Meaning is that if it
shall happen that the full Sum of one hundred Pounds devised me
by William Worth as aforesaid shall not be paid but in Part then
the above Devise shall be paid in Proportion thereunto according
to the true Intent of this my last Will and Testament hereby
disannulling and making void any Will or Wills by me heretofore
made and ratifying and confirming this to be my last Will and
Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my Hand and
Seal this twenty first day of January in the Year of our Lord
